    [Abstract]Objective：To explore the clinical effect of modified Wenshen Tongluo Formula combined with western medicine in the treatment of patients with kidney Yang deficiency type diabetic nephropathy (DN).

    Method： A total of86 patients with kidney Yang deficiency type DN who were admited to Guangfeng District People's Hospital of Shangrao from June 2O2O to March 2O24 were selected.They were divided into two groups by therandom number table method， with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional westernmedicine，while theobservation group was treated withself-designed modified Wenshen Tongluo Formula on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated continuously for8 weeks.The clinicaleficacy，blood glucose level，renal firosis indicators，renal function index，traditional Chinese medicinesyndromescore，immune function，inflammatory factor levels and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
