    [Abstract]Dysphagia is one of the common complications after stroke，and the incidence of dysphagia due to cricopharyngealachalasia is high.Inrecent years，baloon dilatation hasbeenapplied intherehabilitation treatment of dysphagia caused by cricopharyngeal achalasia by several medical institutions.This article reviews theresearch progress of balloon dilatation in the treatment of post-stroke dysphagia caused bycricopharyngeal achalasia， including basic concepts，therapeutic mechanisms，technological advances，improvement measures，therapeutic efficacy，complications，prognostic factors，and discusses futureresearchdirections.Asummaryof theliterature suggests that future research should further explore standardized operational procedures and long-term efects of balloon dilatation to better guide clinical practice.
