    [Abstract] Diabetic nephropathy is a chronic kidney disease that causes proteinuria and a progressive decrease in glomerularfiltrationratedue to long-term diabetes，withan increasing incidence and complex pathogenesis，which willeventuallydevelop into end-stagerenal disease，which seriouslyendangers human life and health.Due toitscomplexmetabolic disorders，itstreatment is more difficult thanother kidneydiseases，so timely preventionand treatment is of great significance for delaying diabetic nephropathy.Mesenchymal stem cels are a classof pluripotent stemcels with self-renewaland multidirectional diffrentiationability，which canreduce kidney damageanddelaythedevelopmentofdiabetic nephropathybyinhibiting apoptosis，anti-fibrosis，anti-inflammatory， anti-oxidative stres，autophagy regulation，mitochondrial regulation and other functions ......
