    [Abstract]Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis (IGM) is rare，but the number of patients has been increasing in recent years，and there is a problemof improperdiagnosis and treatment， therefore，a systematic review of IGM has important clinical significance.TheetiologyandpathogenesisofIGMremainunclear，itisprimarilybelieved tobe associated with autoimmunity，Kreicorynebacterium infectionand hormonal disorders.The clinical manifestations and imaging findings of IGMaresimilar to those of breast cancer，lacking specificity，pathological examination is the gold standard for thediagnosisof IGM.Currently，there isnouniformstandardforthe treatmentof IGM，and surgical treatment should be cautiously applied，and treatment options should be selected based on theirown clinical experienceand patients'wishes.Thisarticle reviews theresearch progressof IGMetiology，pathogenesis，diagnosis and treatment by reviewing domestic and foreign literature reports on IGM-related research and combining clinical experience. ......
