    [Abstract] Helicobacterpylori infection iswidespread，with approximately 50% of the global population being infected.The infectionrate is closely related to geographical regions，demographic characteristics，economic conditions，hygiene habitsand the degreeofclosecontact of infected individuals.The infection rate is generally higher in developing countries.Although the transmission routes of Helicobacter pylori have been widely studied， there is a lack of direct evidence for its recognized transmission routes.More and more evidence shows that oralcavity maybe the mainrouteof transmission，butthe position androle oforal cavityin transmisionis still inconclusive.This review aims tooutline the potential positionand mechanism of action of theoral cavityin the transmissionofHelicobacterpylori，withtheexpectationof providingnew ideas fortheblockingof Helicobacterpylori transmission.
