6 老年期
6.1 老年睡眠 生理特點：随着人口结构的快速老龄化，骨质疏松发病率急剧升高，尤其是女性，由于特殊的激素变化，其发生骨质疏松的风险是男性的三倍余；老年女性女性睡眠时间与骨密度呈正相关，随着睡眠时间的减少，骨密度随之降低。因此老年期睡眠障碍可能会有性别差异，但目前尚缺乏数据证明。
6.2 睡眠障碍特点 此期患者已无月经，激素水平趋于常态，生活大多规律，习惯也基本养成，对睡眠的影响多来自自身的感觉，如其他疾病导致的疼痛、不适；来自子女、社会、自身健康的压力等，但仍需要进一步统计分析。
