    Abstract Objective：To construct a questionnaire on the nursing quality for delirium prevention in patients in the intensive care unit(ICU)and test its reliability and validity.Methods：Based on the evaluation index system of nursing quality for delirium prevention in ICU patients constructed by the research team in the early stage，the questionnaire was formed through expert meetings and preliminary surveys.Using the convenience sampling method，a total of 428 ICU nurses were selected as the subjects from 12 tertiary grade A hospitals in Shanxi province，Jilin province，and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from December 2023 to March 2024.The questionnaire was analyzed，and the reliability and validity were tested.Results：The questionnaire on the nursing quality for delirium prevention in ICU patients includes 3 dimensions and 41 items.The overall Cronbach's α"coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.977 ......
