    Objective：The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in computed tomography perfusion(CTP)in patients with varying degrees of high-altitude polycythemia(HAPC)using a multidetector CT(MDCT).

    Results：The changes of CBV，CBF，and MTT in the basal ganglia area of the control group were 43.87±7.89，3.21±0.48，and 5.00±0.98，respectively，compared to changes of 38.18±5.25，3.82±0.45，and 6.53±1.29 in patients with mild，moderate and severe HAPC(P=0.007，0.013，0.002).

    Conclusions：Patients with different degrees of HAPC had lower perfusion changes than healthy volunteers.The amount of perfusion in basal ganglia area decreased with increasing severity of disease.
