    [Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigate the eficacyof percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy(PTED)in the treatmentoflumbardischerniation(LDH).MethodsTheclinical dataof8 patients withLDHwhohadundergonePTEDin ourhospitalfromJanuary2O23toApril2O24wereretrospectivelyanalyzed.Thepatientswerefollwedupfor6monthspostoperatively.Theywereevaluatedfor pain inthelow back and legs using thevisualanalogscale(VAS)andforlumbarspine function usingtheOswestryDisabilityIndex(ODI beforesurgeryandat3days，3months，and6monthsaftersurgery.Theefficacyof the treatment was evaluatedacording tothe modified MacNabcriteriaat6monthsaftersurgery.ResultsTheVASscoreandODI ofthepatientswere significantlydecreasedat3days ......
